Oakfield High school achieves the Leading parent Partnership Award
On Tuesday 13th March Andy Taylor came into Oakfield to assess us for the Leading Parent Partnership Award.
He talked to different members of staff, parents, governors and learners about how we communicate and keep in touch with parents and had a look around our school.
I am thrilled to inform you that we passed – in fact Andy said it was a shame that there was not more than one level for the award because if there had been Oakfield would have achieved the highest.
John (Garner), Matthew (Draper), Ella (Gleave) and Hannah (Smith) spoke to Andy and their thoughts and feelings about Oakfield, aspirations for their future and communication between school and home where clear and articulate. They did Oakfield proud – well done everybody!
