Digital Technology Pathway

The Digital Technology pathway is structured around four complementary qualifications that collectively develop learners’ digital literacy, technical skills, and understanding of modern digital practices, providing a coherent and progressive route through the pathway. Throughout the 3 year learners will gain a number of qualification such as Open Award Skills for Further Learning and Employment, BTEC Vocational Studies, AQA Unit awards, Open Award in E-Safety, Open Award in Essential Digital Skills for Both Work and Life along side AIM Award in Skills for Working in Digital Technology Industries.

Photography

This course introduces learners to essential photography skills, including digital camera techniques, composition, lighting, and post-production. Through practical projects, learners build a creative portfolio while developing transferable skills like communication, organisation, and digital literacy.

Creative Digital skills 

This course develops the essential creative and technical skills needed for the digital technology industry, accredited through the AIM Skills accredited Creative Digital Skills course. Through hands-on experience in digital content creation, including graphic design, multimedia production, web content, and social media management.

ICT

Develop essential digital skills and build confidence with our Open Awards Qualification in Essential Digital Skills for Both Work and Life. Learn practical skills in using digital devices, online communication, data handling, and digital safety, while applying your learning to real-life and workplace tasks.

Gaming

Develop your creativity and technical skills with our BTEC Vocational Studies Gaming course. Learn core concepts in game design, development, programming, and interactive storytelling while building a portfolio of projects that showcase your skills.
