UNIFORM 

We will be tweaking our school uniform from September 2026 in response to learner voice and learner needs.

We keep our uniform simple, affordable and flexible, in line with Government guidance and branded items are kept to a minimum.

 

From September 2026:

 

 The school uniform is: 

• Black school blazer -(optional)
• Black V‑neck school sweatshirt - (branded item)
• White School shirt - (Velcro shirts are available)
• School tie – (branded item)
• Black Trousers or a knee‑length skirt
• Black polishable shoes or polishable trainers.
• Black Soft-shell jacket - (branded item) - This can be worn instead of school V-neck sweatshirt.

 

PE Uniform

• Oakfield PE uniform - (provided to all learners)
• Trainers for PE only
• Optional plain black tracksuit bottoms - (may be worn over PE shorts in colder weather)
• Either the V-neck sweatshirt or the Oakfield soft‑shell jacket.

• All learners will be expected to wear the branded Oakfield PE uniform provided by school. The only compulsory branded items families need to purchase are the school tie and V-neck jumper; the blazer and soft‑shell jacket remain optional.

 

As we move closer to the next academic year, we will share further information, including updated guidance from our uniform supplier and any additional details families may find helpful. Please do not buy any new uniform unless you need to as the changes are being phased in.

Jewellery 

No jewellery is to be worn apart from a watch and small stud earrings. 

Hairstyles 

Long hair will need to be tied back for activities such as PE, Food Tech, DT and Science. 

Hairsprays, gels, make up and nail varnish are not allowed.
