SPORT RELIEF

Oakfield really got behind Sport Relief this week to raise money to help vulnerable people in the UK and around the world.

At the heart of the campaign was a ‘walk a mile’. It encouraged people to get involved by any which way they could. Each learner that walked a mile received a wrist band.  Each day there were different sporting activities to complete during break time, such as penalty shoot outs, basketball and golf.

On Thursday learners experienced a range of sports including Curling and climbing on the schools Bouldering wall. Then to end such a fantastic week and to raise more money learners enjoyed a ‘Splat the Staff’ afternoon.

It has been an amazing week for learners who were involved with the activities for Sport Relief. Thanks to everyone who made donations and who helped to make the week fun and inspirational to all.
