Y7 CLITHEROE CASTLE VISIT

This week Mr Warrington took year 7 classes to Clitheroe Castle as part of their History Key Stage 3 curriculum.

Learners got to explore the castle that has stood for over 800 years. The visit tells the story of Clitheroe and its surrounding area, the formation of the land 350 million years ago, the people who have lived in the area and their work, their homes and their leisure times.

Learners went up to the top of the castle to walk around the castle wall. They dressed up as Norman Soldiers and even created their own motte and bailey castle out of sand.
